What Auction Sentinel stores about you, where, for how long, and what you can do about it. Last updated 2 November 2026.

Who is responsible

Auction Sentinel is run by an independent developer, reachable at burideveloper@gmail.com. That is who to write to about anything on this page.

What we store

The public pages (prices, items, realms) need no account. Browsing them leaves only these two records, and nothing else about visitors is stored:

Item icons are loaded from Blizzard's image servers, so your browser (or the mobile app) contacts Blizzard to fetch them, as it would on any site that shows World of Warcraft icons. The mobile app has no analytics, advertising or push-notification service built in; it only talks to our server and, for icons, to Blizzard.

If you sign in, we also store:

We do not ask for your Blizzard password and we never see it.

Why we use it

Where it is kept

On a virtual server hosted by Webdock in the European Union. Alerts are sent to you as Discord messages, so Discord also handles those messages under its own privacy policy. Discord is based in the United States, so those messages and your Discord sign-in leave the European Union, under the safeguards Discord describes in its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights over your data, including to export it and to have it deleted. Once you are signed in you can do both yourself from Settings. For anything else about your data, write to burideveloper@gmail.com. If you think we are not handling your data properly, you can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD (www.aepd.es).

What we do not do

Cookies

Only technical ones: the cookie that keeps you signed in and a small flag that lets the public pages show the right button. Nothing tracks you across sites, and because none of them is optional there is no cookie banner.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so on the site before it applies.
